Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse for Telephone Triage in Elmhurst, IL. This full-time role involves handling inbound/outbound calls, assessing patient needs and providing guidance according to clinical protocol.

Hours are typically 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with travel not required. We value strong communication, time management and the ability to work under pressure while delivering high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• CPR BLS - AHA.
• Operational knowledge of physician practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Possesses professional telephone etiquette skills.
• Must be a team player.
• Must be a self-starter, able to handle frequent periods of high stress and difficult patient situations.
• Must possess excellent time management skills.
• Must possess basic keyboard, computer and internet skills.
• Ability to talk on the phone and type simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• The RN Telephone Triage Nurse assesses caller needs through listening, clinical assessment, education and problem solving during inbound/outbound calls.
• Provides patient care guidance and triage via telephone to support physicians and patients.
