Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL seeks a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) - General Surgery for a fulltime, 40-hour week. Office hours Monday to Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with travel as needed.

You will perform inbound/outbound phone triage, patient education, glucose monitor placement, referrals and insurance pre-authorizations under supervision, maintaining strong patient relationships. Illinois RN licensure and CPR (AHA) are required.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA).
• Office RN and BSN preferred.
• Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress.
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbatim.

Responsibilities

• Phone triage and patient education under supervision.
• Glucose monitor placement, testing, insurance pre-authorizations and referrals.
• Manage patient needs with acute and preventive interventions.
• Keep exam rooms clean and stocked.
