Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Registered Nurse Triage (RN) for General Surgery in Naperville, IL. The RN will provide inbound/outbound telephone triage, patient education, glucose monitor placement, and coordination of pre-authorizations and referrals.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by AHA.
• Office RN and BSN preferred.
• Self-starter, able to handle periods of high stress.
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting/bending/reaching/climbing and repetitive use of hands.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs. and carry/push up to 20 lbs.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, both written & verbal.

Responsibilities

• Phone triage and patient care coordination under supervisor.
• Educate patients and manage glucose monitor placement, testing, referrals.
• Coordinate insurance pre-authorization and referrals.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms.
