Qualifications

• Registered nurse with Texas licensure is required.
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and TNCC must be completed within 90 days.
• BSN preferred; SCRN preferred; CEN/ENPC/ATLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate trauma and stroke programs.
• Submit data to regulatory agencies as requested.
• Coordinate nursing care and resuscitation protocols for trauma and stroke patients.
• Review patient records and plans of care to ensure protocols are followed.
• Support staff in problem-solving related to trauma and stroke care.
• Stay current on trauma and stroke care best practices.
