Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Trauma Program Coordinator to lead the trauma program, align with the Trauma Medical Director, and advance regionalized trauma systems. You will coordinate reviews of trauma admissions, mortality and transfers, and drive quality improvement and patient safety across care areas.

The role requires active GA RN licensure, a BSN from an NLM-accredited program, and 3–5 years in trauma/critical care settings, with TNCC/PALS/ENPC and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN licensure in Georgia.
• BSN from an NLM-accredited nursing program.
• 3–5 years nursing experience with 2–3 years in trauma/CC/ER; trauma designation/reverification desired.
• Participation in state professional trauma organizations; maintains TNCC, PALS or ENPC, and ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Prepares trauma program for ACS verification visits and state health surveys.
• Manages trauma services personnel, PI coordinators, and outreach staff.
• Drafts and maintains trauma-specific protocols and guidelines.
• Oversees budgeting, staffing plans, and operational needs.
• Reviews trauma cases for PI and patient safety; identifies optimization actions.
• Monitors TQIP reports to drive clinical improvements.
• Oversees Trauma Registry data collection and reporting.
• Educates staff and coordinates community injury prevention programs.
• Facilitates ongoing trauma education (TNCC, ATLS, ATCN).
