Job summary
UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Nurse Educator for Transplant Services to lead on-site education across transplantation stages for physicians, providers and patients. You will develop educational materials, coordinate outreach events, and collaborate with referring providers to ensure timely evaluations and program growth.
Bachelor’s in Nursing and MA RN license required; master’s degree preferred; 5+ years in tertiary care.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with minimum of 5 years' tertiary care experience.
- MA RN license current; Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Understanding of market research, marketing plan development and execution.
- Experience in social media with proven success in building profiles.
Responsibilities
- On-site education for physicians, providers and patients across transplantation phases.
- Plan and implement transplant education; develop materials for professionals and patients.
- Coordinate outreach events, CME activities and community programs.
- Respond to queries from referring physicians and stakeholders; ensure service excellence.
- Maintain communications with transplant leadership and external partners.
