Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking a Transplant Coordinator Nurse to coordinate all aspects of care for transplant patients. You will assess needs with patients, families and a multidisciplinary team, educate patients, and lead quality and safety initiatives while adhering to national standards.

TN sponsorship is available for this role. Applicants must hold a BSN from an ACEN/CCNE accredited program, have an RN license, and 1 year of RN experience (3 years preferred).

Qualifications

• RN license in the appropriate state requirements.
• BSN from ACEN/CCNE accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; 3 years preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing patient needs.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of care for the transplant patient population.
• Assess data and plan with patient, caregiver, and multidisciplinary team.
• Educate patient and family on care plans and expectations.
• Provide leadership through committees, quality improvement and research.
• Adhere to ANA, UNOS, and FACT guidelines; maintain BLS or equivalent.
