Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Transfer Line in the Call Center. The role supports system-wide patient transfers with strong critical-care skills, rapid decision-making, and effective provider communication.

The position offers part-time hours with a hybrid option after orientation, requiring about 20 hours per week.Candidates must live within 30 minutes of the facility and hold NY RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• RN license in New York State.
• BLS certification.
• 3 years RN experience minimum.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• ICU, Cardiology, or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data.
• Communicates and documents assessment with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services which is individualized and appropriate for the patient needs.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
