Job summary

White Glove Placement New York is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Transfer Center Coordinator to coordinate patient transfers and support patient flow within a large hospital network. This role requires transfer center experience, strong clinical judgment, and excellent communication skills.

Active New York RN license and a minimum of 1 year RN experience are required. The assignment is 13 weeks in Brooklyn, NY with a PM shift (11:00 AM–11:30 PM) and three shifts per week in the Patient Flow

Qualifications

• Active New York RN license required at submission.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Transfer Center experience required.
• Strong knowledge of acute care and critical care patient populations.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, prioritization, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple patient transfers simultaneously.
• Familiarity with patient placement, bed management, and hospital throughput operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transfers across a large hospital network.
• Support patient flow and throughput within the Patient Flow Services.
• Utilize clinical judgment to prioritize and coordinate transfers.
• Communicate with units, physicians, and transport teams to ensure smooth transitions.
