Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an RN Coordinator Nights to influence patient care and enhance throughput across facilities. You will facilitate patient movement, match clinical needs to bed capacity, and collaborate with referring facilities and physicians to ensure safe transfers.

The role requires an accredited nursing program graduate, an RN license, and strong problem-solving skills to support optimal clinical outcomes and patient safety within a hospital transfer center setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in relevant states; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills; ability to coordinate across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform transfer center functions with centralized patient placement.
• Coordinate transfer of emergent, urgent, and elective patients to final destinations.
• Facilitate patient throughput with focus on quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate data in patient records and center workflow systems.
• Communicate professionally with referring facilities and receiving hospitals.
