Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States in Minnesota is seeking a Training & Development Specialist (RN) to lead training for clinical support staff and oversee onboarding processes. This role includes developing materials, coordinating with leadership, and ensuring standard, high-quality training across sites.

The position requires RN licensure in MN/IA/NE, 1 year of RN experience, and BLS certification, with travel across Greater Minnesota and occasional remote admin work.

Qualifications

• RN license current in MN, IA, NE or able to obtain before start date.
• One year of RN experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate
• Experience effectively training and supporting new employees.
• Working knowledge of technology including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and trains newly hired clinical staff across roles (RN, LPN, MA, HCA II) in Family Planning and Abortion Care.
• Collaborates with staff and leadership to identify needs and create interventions.
• Develops training materials, guides, eLearnings, and presentations for staff training.
• Designs and evaluates training programs for new services and service expansions.
• Oversees proctoring and privileging for non-clinician staff; travels to PP locations for on-the-job training.
