Job summary

Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Training & Development Specialist (RN) to deliver and oversee clinical staff training across Minnesota and neighboring states. The role includes onboarding, designing training materials, and coordinating across health centers to ensure high performance and consistent care.

Travel to PP locations is required to provide initial and ongoing training; position is SEIU-represented, with a hybrid work arrangement for administrative duties, and

Qualifications

• RN with a current license in MN, IA, or NE or ability to obtain before start date.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate for healthcare providers.
• Experience effectively training and supporting new employees.
• Working knowledge of technology: Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and trains clinical staff across RN, LPN, MA, and HCA II roles.
• Designs and develops training materials and programs.
• Travels to Planned Parenthood locations to train staff.
• Maintains training records and evaluates training effectiveness across the organization.
• Supports health center supervisors with staff development and evaluation.
• Promotes Planned Parenthood mission and values in day-to-day work.
