Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Training & Development Specialist (RN) in the Twin Cities, MN area with travel across Greater Minnesota. The role provides consultation and learning services for clinical staff onboarding, emphasizing our mission to advance sexual and reproductive healthcare.

The position requires an active MN/IA/NE RN license and experience in training new employees. The role is full-time, hourly/non-exempt, with variable shifts and travel; occasional remote

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse – current license in MN, IA, and NE or able to obtain before start date.
• One year of RN experience.
• Current BLS for healthcare providers.
• Experience effectively training and supporting new employees.
• Working knowledge of technology including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for and trains newly hired clinical staff (RN, LPN, MA, HCA II) in health center roles including Ultrasound.
• Collaborates with staff and leadership to assess needs and develop interventions and materials.
• Designs and develops training materials for staff training, mentoring, and coaching.
• Develops and eval­uates training programs for new services and service expansions.
• Oversees proctoring and privileging for non-clinician staff.
• Travels to Planned Parenthood locations to provide initial and ongoing on-the-job training and evaluation.
• Promotes the organization's mission and employee engagement framework.
• Keeps training records and competency/privileging forms updated.
• Coordinates training activities and maintains training materials.
