Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH is seeking a qualified RN for a full‑time ICU position in Tower 1. The role is 0.9 FTE with 36 hours per week, on a 12‑hour shift from 7:00 a.m.
to 7:30 p.m., delivering direct patient care and coordinating the nursing process. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and an Ohio RN license; current BLS, ACLS, and EKG interpretation; ICU experience preferred.

Shift: 7a-7:30p, 0.9FTE, Straight 12 Hour Shifts, 36 hrs week
The RN is responsible for coordinating and directing the delivery of competent patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. In caring for a patient population which may include the newborn, toddler, adolescent, adult, and the elderly, the RN identifies the special needs of the patient’s age group and respective level of growth and development, and plans the care accordingly. The RN directs the implementation of the Plan of Care through performance and/or coordination of the activities of other members of the health care team. NCP/SOC, Clinical Pathways, Departmental Policies and Procedures are used as the basis to prescribe nursing intervention. The RN is responsible for the evaluation of nursing care given to all patients. The RN revises the plan of care according to the needs of the patient and appropriately implements changes as necessary.
