Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH, is seeking a Part Time ED RN to join our Emergency Department team. The shift is evenings/nights, 0.4-0.8 FTE (16-32 hrs/week), with 8 and 12 hour shifts.
The RN will coordinate and direct patient care through all steps of the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality while supporting a patient population across ages. Current Ohio RN license and certifications are required, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

The RN is responsible for coordinating and directing the delivery of competent patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. In caring for a patient population which may include the newborn, toddler, adolescent, adult, and the elderly, the RN identifies the special needs of the patient’s age group and respective level of growth and development, and plans the care accordingly. The RN directs the implementation of the Plan of Care through performance and/or coordination of the activities of other members of the health care team. NCP/SOC, Clinical Pathways, Departmental Policies and Procedures are used as the basis to prescribe nursing intervention. The RN is responsible for the evaluation of nursing care given to all patients. The RN revises the plan of care according to the needs of the patient and appropriately implements changes as necessary.
