Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Throughput Unit. This 10-bed unit offers diverse clinical experiences across admissions, pre-surgery, and recovery, with opportunities to apply observation nursing skills.

Requirements include a BSN preferred, active RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. Night shift with weekend/holiday rotations apply; sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum by leveraging the nursing process, administering treatments per protocol, and adapting care based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with the care team, maintain accurate documentation, support quality and safety initiatives, and be flexible to float as needed.
