Job summary

Advocate Health’s Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC, seeks an RN for the Med/Surg Overflow unit. This full-time role covers night shifts with weekend/holiday rotation in a 9-bed unit managing diverse patient diagnoses and direct admissions.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved program, holds an active RN license (multistate compact or state), and has at least 1 year of nursing experience. BSN preferred and a sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific based on practice location).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum by leveraging the nursing process and administering treatments per protocol.
• Collaborate with the care team while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting quality and safety initiatives.
