Job summary

Moffitt is seeking an RN Specialty Temp Nurse for our Acute Care Center in Tampa. This contract or time-limited role lasts a minimum of 13 weeks and may be extended. The position pays $70.00 per hour with no benefits.

The ideal candidate will have inpatient hospital experience, emergency/critical care experience, telemetry experience, and a strong ability to adapt to a fast-paced cancer-care environment while maintaining compassionate, family-centered care.

Qualifications

• 2 years of inpatient hospital experience required.
• Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and assignments.
• Good time management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate care for cancer patients and families.
• Integrates patient- and family-centered care with the quality caring factors in practice.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs.
• Participates in evidence-based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Engages in professional development per nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
