Job summary

Moffitt is seeking an RN Specialty Temp Nurse for our Acute Care Center in Tampa. This contract or time-limited role lasts a minimum of 13 weeks and may be extended. The position pays $70.00 per hour with no benefits.

The ideal candidate will have inpatient hospital experience, emergency/critical care experience, telemetry experience, and a strong ability to adapt to a fast-paced cancer-care environment while maintaining compassionate, family-centered care.

This position will pay $70.00 per hour with no benefits. For cancer patients with already compromised immune systems, what starts as a minor medical issue can rapidly escalate into an emergency requiring care from a team of dedicated professionals familiar with managing the side effects and complications of cancer and cancer treatment. Moffitt Acute Care Center provides expedited treatment and care 24 hours a day, seven days a week for Moffitt patients. This allows Moffitt to treat more patients with urgent cancer-related needs on-site. Moffitt Acute Care Center has 27 dedicated beds. The staff consists of Medical Attending, Mid-level Providers, Registered Nurses, Medical Office Assistants and Hospital Unit Coordinators.
