Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking an RN Specialty Temp for the 4th Floor Moffitt McKinley ICU in Tampa. This contract role provides coverage for an ICU team, delivering individualized nursing care to cancer patients under established hospital guidelines and nursing practice standards.

The ideal candidate has ICU/PACU experience, a BSN or ASN with 1 year of relevant experience, and holds BCLS/ACLS certifications along with Florida licensure.

Qualifications

• 2 years of inpatient hospital experience.
• ICU/PACU experience as a registered nurse.
• BCLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.
• FL License.
• An applicant seeking Florida licensure by endorsement must not have NPDB reports unless appealed.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families.
• Identifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patient.
• Participates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practice.
• Participates in professional development based on the nursing professionals’ standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectations.
