Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a registered nurse to handle patient inquiries by phone, assess symptoms using triage guidelines, and guide callers to appropriate care.

You will schedule appointments, document information in health records, maintain triage protocols, and educate patients based on calls. This PRN daytime role requires an RN license, preferred BSN, and at least one year of healthcare experience; no remote option.

Formación

• RN license in the state where practicing, or multi-state licensure if applicable.
• BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer patient inquiries over the phone and assess severity using triage algorithms.
• Guide patients to appropriate level of care and schedule appointments with providers.
• Document information provided during triage in health record systems.
• Maintain and update triage protocols and ensure patient information is current.
• Educate patients based on calls and department needs.
