Medasource is seeking a Telemetry Unit Nurse for Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. You will monitor patients on telemetry, participate in patient care on the 36-bed unit, and collaborate with unit clerks and techs to ensure smooth shifts.

The role requires telemetry experience and knowledge of chest tubes; dysthymia training is a plus. You will work alternating weekends and contribute to patient satisfaction goals while adhering to policies.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds : 36
• Patient Ratios : 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 max ratio. At times may be stretched to 7:1
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) PCTS on day and night shift. Unit Clerks on day shift
• Type of equipment : Remote Telemetry monitors, Alaris pumps
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: every other weekend
• Floating policy: Agency floats first ( may float to Ortho/Med-Surg)
• Patient Experience requirements: Strive for 75% patient satisfaction rate

• Certifications: BLS

Chest tube insertions, Bedside Paracentesis and Thoracentesis
