Job summary

Medasource is seeking an RN traveler for Telemetry at HCA HealthONE Aurora, CO (7P–7A). The 345-bed CC4 Telemetry unit spans multiple floors with float opportunities across Med/Tele and Rehab. Must have 1 year acute care Telemetry, BLS and ACLS; chemo certification is a plus. Medasource offers competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

• Provide telemetry monitoring and direct patient care on a 345-bed Telemetry unit.
• Collaborate with the care team and float to Med/Surg and Rehab units as needed.
• Adhere to unit policies, EMR workflows (Meditech) and safety guidelines.

General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 345 – 3-time Magnet Designation
• Number of Staff – float pool is about 80
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift – RN and CNAs on most units
• Night Shift – RNs and CNAs on most units
• Patient Ratios – 1:5 days and nights varies between units -Estimated & never Guaranteed
• Types of equipment – various
• EMR – Meditech / CPN

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care Telemetry hospital experience
• BLS & ACLS

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Strong Tele experience
• Nice to Have – Chemo Certification (would be able to schedule on our Oncology unit)

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):

• Varies between units – Large Cardiac Population – with 2 Tele floors and a PCU floor
• Floating to all inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units
