Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ seeks an experienced RN for the Telemetry unit on a full-time night shift. The role includes 3 shifts of 12 hours per week with self-scheduling, providing patient-centered care to a 6-patient unit and participating in procedures such as cardioversions and TEE.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• 1+ years of RN experience preferred
• ACLS and BCLS certifications required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects.
• Support and evolve patient care plans with the care team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintain infection control practices and document care thoroughly.
