Job summary

Detroit Medical Center in Commerce Township, Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry to support the staff and lead nursing coverage within the telemetry unit. The Clinical Coordinator will coordinate staffing, assign duties, and help evaluate patient care to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, participation in process improvements, and supporting staff development and performance reviews, under hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Diploma required; BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of Michigan.
• 1–2 years of progressively more responsible experience with leadership.
• Ability to prioritize work and delegate.
• Minimum Level 6 of the Promoting Excellence Performance Criteria, if internal candidate.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and resource nursing personnel during telemetry coverage.
• Assist in scheduling: assign staff, prioritize and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve unit operations and LOS.
• Participate in staff education and performance appraisals.
• Support department policies and process improvements.
