Job summary

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Coordinator, Telemetry in Detroit, Michigan. The role combines clinical leadership with coordination of care for telemetry patients throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include leading staff, scheduling, evaluating patient care, and participating in process improvement. Requirements include an RN license in Michigan, 1–2 years of leadership experience, and BLS (ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Diploma required. BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of Michigan.
• One to two years of progressively more responsible experience with evidence of increasing leadership abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate to others and facilitate processes.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate care delivery by assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing, delegating and evaluating patient care.
• Evaluate care provided by nursing staff and participate in process improvement activities.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to problem-solve unit–based issues and participate in staff development.
• Assist with staffing, education, and policy development within the department.
