Job summary

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator, Telemetry in Hamtramck, MI. This full‑time STAFF role requires leadership in coordinating care, staffing, and process improvement across the Telemetry unit.

Eligible candidates hold an Associates Degree or Diploma (BSN preferred), MI RN license, and 1–2 years of leadership experience with strong prioritization and delegation skills. A sign‑on bonus may apply based on experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree/Diploma required. BSN preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by the state of Michigan.
• One to two years of progressively more responsible leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Functions as lead and resource person for nursing personnel and acts as a clinical resource for planning staff meetings and development.
• Collaborates with the manager to monitor schedules and ensure adequate nurse-patient ratios.
• Facilitates shared decision making and unit throughput to improve LOS.
• Coordinates in-service programs to maintain staff competence.
• Assists with interviewing, selection, retention, mentoring, and evaluation of staff.
• Participates in policy development and department standards.
• Supports department Process Improvement and Peer Review.
