Job summary

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• 1 year of RN experience; specialty units may require more.
• Texas NLC license or compact-state license, and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs and accurately documents physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments.
• Develops a plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Prioritizes nursing interventions and documents changes timely.
• Provides patient education and discharge planning; involves patient and family.
• Advocates for patient safety and participates in quality initiatives.
