Description:This position is for a Telemetry RN working nights and rotating weekends.The candidate must be able to read telemetry strips.The unit consists of 32 beds.It serves as a private unit for orthopedic and neurological medical/surgical patients.Patient population includes scheduled elective orthopedic patients, fractures, neurological patients, and overflow medical patients.The clinician to patient ratio is typically 1:5 or 6 on the night shift.The electronic medical record system used is EPIC.Travelers are required to float to applicable units when requested.Rotating shifts may be required for day positions, though night positions do not rotate.Experience as a traveler in this field is necessary.
