Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Med Surg Telemetry setting.The nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients.The typical patient population includes total joint patients, surgical patients, and individuals with acute on chronic medical conditions.Candidates should have experience with conditions such as CHF, CKD, alcohol withdrawal, SIRS, and GIB.The work environment emphasizes a compassionate, positive, and can-do attitude.Floating to other units may be required as part of the role.Candidates must be able to adapt to changing situations within the hospital setting.This role does not include on-call requirements.Weekends will require 4 shifts within a 4-week schedule period.
