ARMStaffing is sourcing an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department Observation Unit at LBH Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, MD. The role supports adult and geriatric patients with a patient ratio of 1:5, focusing on telemetry monitoring and rapid response.

The position requires 7 years of RN experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and strong dysrhythmia management skills, with 3x12 hour day shifts and every-other-weekend work. Floating within the facility may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in ER holding and PCU/Stepdown preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiac telemetry monitoring and manage dysrhythmias.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines, peripheral lines, and PICC lines.
• Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and maintenance.
• Handle hemodialysis pre/post care and renal failure management.
• Implement isolation precautions and wound care, including VAC therapy.
• Participate in rapid response and code team procedures.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

The schedule consists of 3x12 hour shifts, from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring every other weekend availability. Floating within the facility may be necessary based on operational needs.
