Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse, Telemetry (Day Shift) for Manahawkin, NJ on a 13-week contract. The RN will evaluate patients, assist physicians, and provide patient-centered care across telemetry units with a focus on safety and evidence-based practice.

Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience, NJ RN license (or compact), BLS and NIHSS certifications required. Shift is 36 hours weekly, with every other weekend and no holidays or on-call obligations.

Qualifications

• NJ State RN license (active) or compact license.
• BLS certification from AHA and NIHSS certification required.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care. Responsibilities include planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs, identifying priorities for care, and developing individualized plans. The RN will perform therapeutic interventions, manage patient care, advocate for evidence-based practices, and provide patient-centric care.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
• Identify patient needs through assessment and prioritize accordingly.
• Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions as required.
• Document care in alignment with standards and patient acuity.
• Advocate for and adopt evidence-based practice standards.
• Provide patient-centered care adhering to the professional nursing practice model.

Required Experience

Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry experience required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ASN from an accredited school of nursing required.
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam required.
