Job summary

Helia Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to lead and mentor LPNs and CNAs while delivering high‑quality resident care. You’ll supervise day‑to‑day operations, ensure accurate medication administration, and advocate for residents with compassion and professionalism.

Ideal candidates bring supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to ongoing education in geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Illinois) in good standing.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe, assess, document, and communicate changes in resident conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as licensed clinician.
• Receiving, transcribing, and executing physician orders.
• Lead LPNs and CNAs with confidence and kindness.
• Develop and evaluate care plans that support residents’ wellness and comfort.
• Direct CNAs to ensure safe resident care per policy.
• Complete admissions, pain evaluations, and required documentation.
• Report incidents per policy and notify physicians and families of significant changes.
• Assist with light housekeeping or maintenance as needed.
• Model professional behavior and uphold facility policies.
