Job summary

Helia Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois to lead and provide clinical care for residents in a compassionate, team‑centered environment.

You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, administer medications, document findings, and advocate for resident comfort and safety while upholding facility policies and regulatory guidelines. Strong communication and leadership are essential in this fast‑paced, hands‑on setting.

Qualifications

• Current, valid Illinois RN license.
• Experience in long-term care, acute care, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret journals, policies, and regulations; CE to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide LPNs and CNAs to deliver safe, compassionate resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Document observations and changes in resident conditions; report to physicians and families as needed.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate care plans to support resident wellness and comfort.
• Direct CNAs to ensure care is performed per policy and maintain a clean, safe environment.
