Responsibilities

• Lead a team of direct care providers to ensure medications and treatments are administered correctly, and care plans documented in compliance with policies.
• Apply the nursing process to deliver patient care and ensure continuity from admission through discharge.
• Visit residents daily to assess physical and emotional status and escalate changes to the charge nurse/physician.
• Identify resident problems and emergencies and initiate lifesaving measures in the absence of a physician.
• Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, evaluations, and charting as needed
