Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Surgical Ortho Unit RN for night shift. This full-time role (36 hrs/week) supports patients undergoing general orthopedic procedures and total joint replacements, in a private 10-bed unit known for advanced care.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and contributing to excellent patient outcomes within a renowned Johns Hopkins environment.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN preferred with pathway to BSN.
• Current MD or compact/multi-state RN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum six months nursing experience required.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
• Current MD or compact/multi-state RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
• 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)

Salary Range: Minimum $39.64/hour - Maximum $61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
