UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Oncology Inpatient Unit. This full-time night shift role includes rotating weekends with supervision from physicians and nursing leadership to deliver high-quality nursing care.

Required: graduate of an approved nursing program, Texas RN license, BLS certification and 1 year RN experience. Preference for BSN and professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing program (Texas BON 217.1).
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments across age groups.
• Develop an appropriate plan of care based on assessments and patient needs.
• Coordinate with the interdisciplinary health care team to optimize patient care.
