Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• One year of clinical nursing experience or completion of RN residency.
• Oncology or hospice experience is preferred.
• RN must practice within the Texas Nurse Practice Act and be a role model.
• BCLS and CPI training maintained annually; CPR certification may be required.
• CRRN/CNRN/ONC certificates are preferred or other specialty certs.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses patients and plans individualized care.
• Intervenes and evaluates outcomes of care.
