The role you’ll contribute:

The RN Surgery Scheduler is responsible for scheduling surgical and endoscopy patients in the Epic Scheduling Module; obtaining and entering accurate insurance information; answering incoming phone calls; transcribing physician orders and sending to appropriate departments.

• Competence with Epic Scheduling module. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, balance and reconcile figures, punctuate properly, spell correctly, and transcribe accurately.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited professional school of nursing
• At least two years of experience in patient care in a hospital setting required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of outpatient procedures preferred
