Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process for planning and delivering direct and indirect patient care.
• Multi-tasks, organizes, and prioritizes patient care with an efficient, concise process.
• Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs.
• Anticipates preparation of cases to enhance team efficiency and prevent delays.
• Performs documentation on unit and patient records; timely and concise.
• Initiates and investigates needed repairs, missing equipment, and supplies to ensure resolution.

• Utilizes the nursing process for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care

• Anticipates preparation of cases and needs to enhance the efficiency of the team effort, i.e. punctual case start times, accurate and timely preparation of cases (instruments, supplies and equipment) and eliminates predictable case delays
• Performs documentation on unit and patient records that is timely, accurate and concise
• Initiates and investigates needed repairs, missing equipment, supplies and other pertinent areas and follows through to ensure resolution

• Bachelors Of Science Nursing and Two years recent experience in the acute care arena as operating room nurse with scrubbing, circulating skills and First Assist experience, upon hire
