Job summary

Qualifications

  • Multi-tasks, organizes, and prioritizes patient care using an efficient, concise, and goal-oriented process
  • Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs
  • Anticipates case preparation and needs to enhance team efficiency, ensuring punctual starts and timely preparation of instruments, supplies and equipment
  • Performs documentation on unit and patient records in a timely, accurate, and concise manner

  • Utilizes the nursing process for the planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care
  • Multi-tasks, organizes, and prioritizes patient care utilizing an efficient, concise and goal outcome process
  • Performs case preparation and intra-operative case execution for department needs
  • Anticipates preparation of cases and needs to enhance the efficiency of the team effort, i.e. punctual case start times, accurate and timely preparation of cases (instruments, supplies and equipment) and eliminates predictable case delays
  • Performs documentation on unit and patient records that is timely, accurate and concise
  • Initiates and investigates needed repairs, missing equipment, supplies and other pertinent areas and follows through to ensure resolution

Preferred
  • Bachelors Of Science Nursing and Two years recent experience in the acute care arena as operating room nurse with scrubbing, circulating skills and First Assist experience, upon hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire
