Dignity Health's Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced surgical environment. The RN will perform assessments, plan and implement patient care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and outcomes.

Recent OR experience, CA RN license and BLS are required; preferred recovery/critical care experience.

Qualifications

  • Recent operating room experience in an acute care setting.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Collects patient data based on diagnosis, age and/or developmental age. Analyzes data collected.
  • Plans and prioritizes individualized care based on the assessment, utilizing nursing diagnosis, including teaching and discharge needs of the patient and family, and sets outcome goals in coordination with other disciplines.
  • Ensures that the patient/family participates in the plan of care as able, and that plan of care addresses age-specific and cultural needs.
  • Implements appropriate standards based on assessment.
  • Prioritizes and organizes care within the allotted time frames.
  • Coordinates discharge steps or ensures appropriate referral to address timely, appropriate discharge needs.
