Job summary

Frederick Living is seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor for part-time, weekend-only shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am in Pennsylvania. The role offers experience-based pay starting at $41.00/hr plus shift differential and a benefits package including 401(k) with match, PTO, and wellness programs.

The RN will oversee nursing staff, ensure safe, high-quality care, and collaborate with the care team to support residents’ health and well-being at all times.

Qualifications

• PA RN license is required.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work extra hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor or physician/physician extender.
• Communicate with Supervisor, DON, NHA, care providers, and family/POA as needed.
• Use evidence-based practices to ensure safe, high-quality care delivery.
• Assist in managing personnel through performance evaluation, coaching, counseling, education, and corrective action as needed.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in resident transitions of care, care conferences, and care plan reviews.
• Collaborate with Cedarwood staff to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
• Comply with Infection Control practices.

What You’ll Do

• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the Nurse Supervisor or physician/physician extender

• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in resident transitions of care, care conferences, and care plan reviews
• Collaborate with Cedarwood staff to ensure optimal resident outcomes
• Comply with Infection Control practices
• Ensure hand-held communication equipment is maintained for effective call bell management and team communication
• Attend and complete all required in-services, training, and team meetings
• Abide by the organization’s code of conduct
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in geriatric nursing preferred
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to role model professional appearance and demeanor

• Commitment to person-centered care initiatives
• Conflict resolution skills and ability to coach and support staff
