The ideal candidate has an RN license in NY, 1–3+ years in geriatric/rehabilitation settings, and leadership experience. A $3,750 sign-on bonus is available, with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• RN licensing and state certification required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in geriatric/rehabilitation; 3+ years preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations and resident rights.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff during assigned shift (team leaders, nursing assistants, trainees).
• Ensure care plans are implemented and followed; monitor resident condition.
• Communicate changes in patient status promptly to providers and families.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, documentation, and nursing services.
• Address resident, family, visitor, and staff concerns; promote a positive care experience.
• Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling, and overtime authorization as needed.
• Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management.

Rate: $36- $38/hour (depending on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $3,750!!
Shift: Part-Time
Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays, 7 am- 7:30 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise nursing staff, including team leaders, nursing assistants, and trainees during assigned shifts
• Ensure resident care plans are implemented, updated, and followed appropriately
• Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition, ensuring timely communication with providers and families
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, documentation, and nursing services
• Address resident, family, visitor, and staff concerns while promoting a positive care experience
• Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling adjustments, and overtime authorization as needed
• Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management activities
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, resident rights, and regulatory requirements
• Respond to emergencies, safety concerns, incidents, and facility operational issues
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Valid NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a geriatric or rehabilitation setting; 3+ years preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution abilities
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations, infection control practices, and resident rights
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
