Job summary

Autumn View Health Care Facility in Hamburg, NY is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor Weekend Warrior to lead nursing operations on Saturdays and Sundays from 7 am to 7:30 pm. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure care plans are followed, monitor residents, manage meds, and support regulatory compliance.

This part-time role offers competitive pay and benefits. Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, NYS RN license, and 1 year of geriatric or rehab RN experience; 3+ years

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Valid NYS RN License required.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience in geriatric or rehabilitation setting; 3+ years preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff, including team leaders, nursing assistants, and trainees during assigned shifts.
• Ensure resident care plans are implemented, updated, and followed appropriately.
• Conduct resident assessments and monitor changes in condition, ensuring timely communication with providers and families.
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, documentation, and nursing services.
• Address resident, family, visitor, and staff concerns while promoting a positive care experience.
• Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling adjustments, and overtime authorization as needed.
• Support staff education, orientation, coaching, and performance management activities.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, infection control standards, resident rights, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to emergencies, safety concerns, incidents, and facility operational issues.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
