Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN for the Behavioral Health department at Mercy St Louis on a full-time weekend option schedule (Fri/Sat/Sun 10am-10pm and every other Thursday 1pm-9pm). The role supports planning, coordination, and evaluation of patient care and operations, serving as a clinical resource and stepping into managerial duties as needed.

The position offers incentives including a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, a Stay Premium program, and comprehensive benefits, with 401(k) matching

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN licensure in hiring state or compact licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience; supervisor experience preferred.
• BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in Behavioral Health.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Perform staff nurse duties as needed and take on delegated managerial tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
