Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Clinical Supervisor for weekend shifts. This full-time role (36 hours per week) supports planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.

The RN may act as a clinical resource and take on managerial duties as delegated. Requires Missouri RN license, 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule:Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift:Day Shift

Qualifications

Education:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing


• Nursing Diploma


• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure:Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience:3-5 years of hospital nursing experience

Certifications

• Required:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education:BSN preferred


• Licensure:Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred


• Experience:Prior management experience - experience within change management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs. regularly


• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift


• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties
