Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in our Morrison, IL community. The RN will supervise nursing assistants, coordinate daily activities, and ensure adherence to all federal, state and local standards while maintaining high-quality resident care.

The role requires a valid RN license, basic computer skills, and strong English communication. Overtime and weekend coverage may be required to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in good standing.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use standard office software.
• Excellent reading, writing and spoken English required.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing care for residents and provide supervision to nursing assistants.
• Ensure care is delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.
• Coordinate shifts, report on activities, and maintain accurate patient records.
• Ensure all nursing staff follow job descriptions and participate in safety and compliance activities.
• Administer professional nursing procedures as required (e.g., catheterization, dressings, wound care) and monitor resident conditions.
