Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services in Illinois seeks a Nursing Supervisor, RN to deliver high-quality care across assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care settings. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate resident care with the Director of Nursing and administration.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an approved nursing program, licensed RN in Illinois, and has at least two years of nursing and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an RN in the state of Illinois.
• 2 years nursing experience, required.
• 2 years of supervisory experience, required.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise professional and non-professional nursing staff; ensure quality of care by rounds, resident satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage overall functioning of the building for the assigned shift.
• Provide explanation of nursing policies and procedures and assist staff to ensure understanding and training.
• With Director of Nursing, participate in evaluation, discipline, and motivation of staff.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing/administration regarding observations and concerns.
