Job summary

The role requires active Illinois RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS within 12 months, and a collaborative leadership approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assess, intervene and provide direct patient care using nursing process.
• Communicate with physicians, caregivers, patients and families about the plan of care.
• Provide age-appropriate communication and care across pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Document nursing assessments, treatments, and education accurately.
• Floats to acute nursing, Swing-Bed, and ER as needed.
• Maintain safety with patient lifts, equipment, and adherence to policies.
• Administer medications and reconcile orders accurately.
• Coordinate activities of clinical and non-clinical staff on the unit.
